There’s a switch on the power socket behind the TV, turn this on to give power to the TV and the lighting around the TV. You can then turn the TV and lamp on.

The lighting strip behind the TV turns on automatically. Feel free to unplug this so you don’t need to keep turning that switch on at the power socket.

If you use your laptop to watch movies/TV, feel free to use one of the HDMI cables connected to the workspace monitors to directly connect your laptop to the TV. Please return the HDMI cable to the monitor before you leave.

Both desks have an adjustable standing desk on top. Press and hold the black lever on the right side of these to adjust the height to your liking.

We have a small selection of puzzles available in the TV cabinet and books scattered around. Please help yourself to any of these. We kindly ask that you treat them with a little care (because we haven’t read some of them ourselves yet!).

To the right of the workspace is a dial for the ceiling fan. Number 1 is the fastest setting, 3 the slowest.
